Re map with Tune ECU and check the TPS cold and hot with the software.

My 08 died a lot when I pulled in the clutch when blipping the throttle in parking lots or moving around in heavy traffic......

I went to Hilltop MX in PA last June with a group of 10. The house states it sleeps more, but with 10 it was just about right.... The track is an old AMA track from the 70's. I have tons of pics...

Killer clutch pull

I had that symptom with the engine cutting out when I pulled in the clutch and blipping the throttle. I did manage to get rid of it, but I had other issues at the same time around a bad flat spot......

Big Bike?

I have a KTM 990 but with Pirelli Scorpion dual sport tires that are more street oriented. They are NOT knobbies.... dont think I want to attempt the ride based on the photo's so I'll bring the KTM...

My 08 did it too

When I got my 08 it did the same thing, but not anymore. Not sure what made it go away, re mapping, FI cleaning, or TPS. My guess is TPS as that setting will change slightly after the bike warms...

I think the flexing of the sheet metal panels will loosen up the foam, leading to noise and irritation. Plus most of that stuff has nasty chemicals in at and needs to be sealed off from human...

My 08 developed a flat spot 3800 to 4200 but sounds the same as yours. If you power thru it you don't feel it, but trying to cruise at that RPM drove me nuts !!

Got my hands on a cable, didn't fix it when I put the stock map on and did an adaptation. The map on there was the same as the stock one.

Ended up taking the throttle bodies...

Yes, the standard throttle cable adjustment I read on here somewhere where you loosen both cables, use the kill switch to work the servo motor a few times, then re adjust.
