Three to four times the tire life of a TKC for me. I burn through a TKC rear in 1500 miles, I get 4000 + miles out of the Karoo 3. Great tire, much better than the K-60 on and off road.

I actually heard this from the dealer I bought the bike from and they did the 600 mile service. BMW called the service department at my dealership to find out if they had ever opened up the engine.

New info. The bolt on the clutch basket was loose and when they looked at the clutch, two of the approximately 14 clutch plates were missing!

Looks like a screw up at the time of assembly.
