That's a OEM KLR tailbag. Works great.

The Safari tank, Corbin stock saddle and Borrego tailrack combination requires a bit of fittering but works out fine in the end result. :deal

Excellent point! Yes, the regulator simply "bleeds" all the unused juice to ground and causes heat, that's why it has fins on it to aid in cooling. Nothing more than a large heat sink in reality.
