How does the beefier spring work? I scrape the top of my tire on the fender even with the bike loaded for a weekend. Add a passenger and real luggage and I'll scrape all the time.

Mine is great on the freeway. I came from cruisers, and my tailbone and back were always tired at the end of the day. Not so on the Vstrom.
