i always flip my front knobbies and get a lot more miles out of them. i flip them before they get too bad so they dont feel bad at all.

it should be ok but if it was mine i would hammer it back in a bit with a soft hammer or block of wood and hammer just to keep stuff from getting in there.then have it fixed when possible.
