Clean all the threads and Loctite worked for me. Some of the threads on one of my mounts were a bit screwed up from the factory mirrors so I drilled in from the side and put a pin through it.

Yeah I would prefer no power, crappy brakes with no ABS, and spindly suspension. And I hate fuel injection that just runs for hundreds of thousands of kilometres. It is a nightmare.

I like mine always on. Pain in the butt when it switches off every time I stop. Haven't killed a battery yet, I think once I left it plugged in for a day or so and the bike still started.
