Tennessee was about 80% paved roads, some very narrow, traffic was minimal- looked like everyone was hiding in their houses or ??. Maybe they knew we were coming!!

Most of the streams in Tenn were clear water and scenic.

Many old bridges left standing next to the new bridges.

The trees covering the roads were thick and it was a lot darker then these pics show. It was hard to see in the dim light.

Crossing over I-24, the way to enjoy freeways- ride over them!

Burt taking a break.

Crossed many, many bridges.

Our first real water crossing- no problem.

Enjoying our success, the next one almost got Burt!!

Very smooth, fast graded roads, most of Tenn's roads were very smooth, groomed and almost perfect sized gravel for our bikes.

This is the most photographed water crossing in Tenn. It was slick!!

Burt scratching his head and saying: "Did you see me go sideways and almost loose it about 3 times?"

Pickwick State Park Campground, Tenn. Very close to Gaspipe's place. Note the "liquid refreshment" on my bike!!
