Thats me in my street gear in front of my new steed. This was my second ride on the bike, and I hadn't been on a dirt bike in 30 years. I was a little nervous riding with so many experienced DS'er in mud, snow, and mountains, but immediately felt totally comfortable. What a great group of guys to ride with.
It is a little intimidating climbing a trail that is increasingly covered in snow, and not knowing where it ends, or what it will be like coming back down.
Or even wondering, how the hell are you going to turn around on this trail.
But that is what it is all about, pushing yourself, having fun, being a little reckless. I had a great time and am looking forward to the next ride.
I need to get waterproof dirt boots, and larger foot pegs though.
