though we hit pavement, the ride didn't dissapoint us because of the nice weather and beautiful scenery...oooops almost forgot.. plus good company..

again dirt brought smiles to our faces...

these 2 have been watching neduro's dsr video...

we made it to the top of the summit lookout and here's roger proving we were there

larry aka galacticGS rode for 2 days from WA for this weekend event

more FFs..

we don't have this kind of riding at home

i have a feeling my camera won't make it to the end of the weekend; true, it died 2 days later...

we explored more of the area and they're starting to look the same

there were few road signs and without a gps, we would have been lost

this power line road eventually became a sandwash....

cathy was the first victim of the day

in less than a mile, the sand monster took cathy again.....

seeing there is at least 4 miles of sand, we decided to take a break

cathy got her form back and happy to be on friendlier turf

it pays to be slow, you get lots of pics from me....

the gs1200 and 990 battling it out on our way back to camp..

roger gave up since he smelled burning rubber.....

who's idea to stop and rest at the blind corner...

one of the few ranches in the area

we made it back to the camp without hitting a COW..

the notorious campsite #78

and sOOn dunerat fired up his eslo carne asada grill

joefromsf as usual likes to ride into camp in the cover of darkness ; i hope they share their ride with us and how long tall sally lead them to a real adventure...
