After the East Fork Owyhee Ford we climbed out of the canyon to the plateau. Not too far down the trail we find the South Fork Owyhee at The 45 Ranch.

This was another easy ford.

Headed out of the canyon.

Coming up this hill I was in the left track and was thinking I hope I don't catch a rock hanging out of the side of the hill on my soft bag. About 10 seconds later I came past a sagebrush and saw a sharp rock aimed right at the bag. Boink! I stopped at the top and surveyed the damage. A nice surgical quality cut about four inches long. No pics of it. I got a piece of color matched black duct tape from Bob to keep the dust out. To be continued.......

Explain to me again why enjoying life when I retire is more important than enjoying life now?
