Day 1, October 23, 2009.

Day 1.

Day 1 was cold so we opted to do the trail ride. 3C (37F)

We had intended to do over 300 km but the extreme cold, wet conditions and leaf covered trails conspired to shorten the milage, but not the fun.
We started out at 9:40 am.

Note the custom kickstand.

Note also the wonder trailer accomodations.

Everyone took a different line through this puddle.
Graham went to the right.

Travis went to the left.

Paul took the middle.

And Ed split the difference.

We met some very friendly moose hunters on the trail.

There are very many challenging sections on the 20km long Killer Lake Trail. Lots of deep cold water.
