And I suppose if you research enough you can do it, but I wonder if some of the airhead transmission guru's don't have a few tweaks up their sleeves to make these transmissions shift better, or last longer etc.

Right now in my love hate relationship with the Airhead I am doing my camchain, and will drop the motor to helicoil the oil filter cover bolthole that has stripped. And while it has been up onthe workstand for that, it has started dripping brake fluid from the rear master cyl, so guess I will be digging into that too, and the steering head bearings.
I new I should have totally stripped this bike when i first got it, instead of fixing one thing after another on the run.
