I could not agree more. But it should be a warning to all of us that even under the best conditions mistakes can still happen. This is a good example of one. The rules were being followed but a simple miscommunication put a big kink in the day. I have notice that a lot of the rider and rides are getting faster especially the desert rides. The old days of fire roads where you wait at the every trail change don't work as well in the desert.

This last Sat's ride I think went well and was a good example of how it can be done. The Key was not to get to far apart and to regroup more often and then push on. If your goal is to haul ass and ride as fast as you can then group rides may not be good for you. Desert riding is a different ball game, you can get lost and lose the pack in a second.

I really felt bad that we lost Razor (and the other guy) And to be honest I'm not to sure how it happened. It's a lesson learn for me.
