It looks like a later r80 GS basic tank to me, they had the tank which ll\ooked like the G/S tank but a locking cap and being a later model probably the venting (I'm guessing on that).

Thanks and I thought of that possibility. The R80GS Basic was not imported here and there is still what looks like OEM G/S blue under the repaint. I guess anything is possible.
