The stand looks like it is a little far forward in the down position. I would like you to stick a thin piece of material between the stops and get the stand a little more vertical. If you let me know the size of the material you shim it with I will be able to make the adjustment. Ideally the stand should be at approximate 15 degrees in relation to the ground. That will lift the rear of the bike higher as well. In addition that should allow the bike to rock back on the rear tire with the addition of about 30 lbs of weight behind the rear seat.

How good a guess was that on the angle of the center stand in the up position? I was hoping it would match the angle of the side stand.

But it works better then I thought it would considering I didn't get to try on a bike. I will send you a PM and see what you would like to do.
