I have no idea why the pictures didnt embed. Stoopid compootahs!
Yes this is it, finally, the Scrambler Bash Plate MkII.
4mm alloy, held on with four countersunk bolts. Rubber mounted. No vibration, resonance or reflected engine noise.
The one in the pictures is still a little rough, but thats the basic unit.
Now that we have the basic template, theres lots of room for tweaking to suit individual tastes.
The top edge lines up with the bottom edge of the radiator. This can be cut shorter, or longer, or an extra 10 or 20mm added to create a "lip" if desired.
The "wings" can be made wider or narrower.
It can be mounted with the Triumph crash bars, or the bottom cut out left if you dont have them.
Less holes or more holes. Bigger or smaller holes.
Other options include:
- polished to a mirror finish
- epoxy coated
- powder coated
Theres a range of colours available with these options. Prices for these options are still TBA as I have a few workshops to speak with as well as checking on the quality of the work.
The fabricator I'm dealing with has a enough 4mm plate to do a run of ten straight up. For this batch he will do them for $400.00AUD each including GST.
I havent yet checked with Australia Post on shipping costs, but I cant see this being much.
Please PM me if you're up for one.
