Thanks for the tip. It's starting fine now. It was more my lack of experience and not the bike. I ordered a KLR600 manual and just need to buy the supplement for the KLR250. I won't adjust the valves until I get a little more familiar with the operation of the bike. I just learning to ride and familiarize myself with the bike. Thanks again for the help.
