I'm about 5'8".
The levers do appear low, attributable mostly to the Euro bars as you noticed.
With my fingers on the levers, it's generally a straight line from the tips through my wrists and arms to my shoulders when sitting upright. The position is comfortable for me even if I tuck a little.
Also, the bars are rolled forward... more than I might otherwise... so the switchgear won't strike the tank when the forks are rotated to the stops. My '64 has a three-switch cluster at the left perch and the horn lever protrudes slightly at the bottom.
Some time in the future I'd like to mount sidecar bars, which will solve the tank clearance issue.
