A good mix of wide single track and challenging fire roads and only 40 mins from Downtown LA!

Hungry Valley AKA Gorman
there's some hard riding out here but on the weekend it gets crowded with quads, RUV's, 4x4's and yahoos so watch those Omni directional trails

San Bernardino National Forest
This place is big and it got all kinds of riding, I myself haven't explored it that much but all the ride reports look awesome!
Angeles National Forest
Mostly burnt up right now but there is still some fire roads west of the 14
Cleveland National Forest
I haven't rode this myself yet but I hear there are some fire roads up there
Sand
Glamis AKA imperial dunes
The best of the all the dunes it's like a mountain range of Sand
Pismo AKA Oceana Dunes
The dunes go right up to the ocean
Twisty Roads
Hwy 2 AKA Angeles crest Hwy AKA the crest A fast but dangerous Road. Lookout for Cyclist, CHP, Squids and tightening radius turns up here
