DRZ 400 S is the street legal version of the E, plated from factory. Dual sport.
DRZ 400 SM is super motard version.
A lot of people add the K when refering to the DR-Z400 to avoid confusion, but the K is actually used in the year designation. For instance, my 2006 S model is technically a DR-Z400SK6. A 2007 SM is a DR-Z400SMK7. Is this making sense? To confuse things a little, a 2000 kick start model is technically a DR-Z400K, but only the 2000 model year kicker. tanks for clarification ptgarcia
