Jenny,
All 3 tanks run through the fuel pump. I suggest that you move your fuel tap and put the pump where Neil's is. The pump should be as low as possible and out of the way. Move the fuel tap to somewhere where you can reach it while sitting on the bike. Use fuel line sturdy enough not to collapse at all with the vacuum.
