A few days ago I was also planning to get that 'ol thumper up to Brown Mtn to ride some trails today.. But a friend needed some help this morning and once that was taken care of we ended up going for a street ride with the gang I call "The Old Guys from Work"

It was probably a good thing that I didn't go to Brown as it got up into the 90s and was a bit sticky even riding street.
We just cruised some local back roads...
...and took lots of convenience store breaks....what's always a nice find there is a "beer cave" aka walk-in cooler.
....we even met Jamie at one of those stops!

..nor did I think that it was still peach season...apples should be very soon.
Windmills may not be able to get me to stop and
