Vermont welcomed me with this sign.
Then one you don't want to see while on a motorcycle.
Finally some larger mountains now outside of NY.
I really like these kind of streams out east.
Quechee gorge, Vermont.
Whats left of the old man in the mountain. I was fortunate enough to see it 1998.

One the reasons for this trip was to return to Mt. Washington. I last visited in 1998 with my parents before I was old enough to drive up the auto road. This time I will tackle it with my KLR250.
I checked the summit conditions across the street before going up. Luck was on my side that day.
Summit parking was fairly empty at 10 am.
