I see the S10 gets some sly and some blatant slagging in the recent BIKE test. They are super impressed by Multistrada's power, and don't have much bad to say about the GS (at least one of these guys - Simon Pavey - has a vested interest in keeping BMW happy).
Conclusion for the S10:
"Oiltanker stability, big fuel tank, high standard specs. Suspension is good off road.
And the GS:
"Grunty, practical, proven reliability (??), huge array of options allow spec to be tailored, most frugal, comfy... shall I go on?"
Two things that looks most weird to me on this performance chart given that the S10 and GS are so close on the dyno, and the Multistrada so far ahead;
A) S10 is more than 10 secs slower than the GS in the 40-120mph test.
B) In the same test, the Multistrada is less than a second faster than the GS. With 45hp more...
Which all goes to make the GS look very good - seems that's the point of the whole test...
