Great trip report!

We have wild mustangs near our house. Today one of them nearly ran down my spouse on a dirt road as it came up from behind on our left and was determined to cross in front. We were each on our own bike, and he was in front.

Afterward, we saw that we got between the stallion and the mare but didn't know until we stopped after the near miss and saw the other horse. The trajectory and speed of my spouse and the horse were going to result in a certain hit, unless at least one of them took evasive action. He had to turn left into the horse, since that was the way the road turned. At the very last second - they both swerved, but the horse still crossed in front. I proved that it doesn't matter how loud one yells, "Look out! inside your helmet without an intercom.

And thanks' for the picture of the sunflower - they are my favorite.
