crf230l some thoughts

My dad has one, and a wr250r.

He got the 230 1st, then the 250.

2 totally different bikes, well at least to me. My dad weighs about 190 lbs, and I weigh about 215 lbs. For me: the 230's suspension is its downfall, but I'm too heavy for it. I feel like I'm going to break it, but in really tight slow stuff, it is sooooo easy to use.

The wr250r is way faster, but, due to the characteristics of the motor, really slow going is tougher than the 230.

He is turning the 230 into more of a hunting/lone rider trail bike. The wr begs to go faster and is easy to ride fast (it's really awesome), but it could certainly get you in trouble if you are by yourself.

The 230 is a real gem for slower technical riding, and enjoying scenery, not to mention it is nearly silent.
