The opportunity to pick up a spool hub came knocking the other day. For $45. I couldn't pass.
Checking on what I was going to have to fabricate for the correct spacing, a problem appears.
The lug for the front brake backing plate is going to interfere with the spokes on the left side. Still trying to keep the budget down on this project, I break out the hacksaw and away I go. There's no going back to a stock front brake without going to another lower fork leg.
