The lug be gone. Angle grinder cleaned up the weld that remained after the saw went through it. Rotated the fork leg 180 degrees and used the axle to hold it from turning while I ground down the weld.



Painted up and waiting on the spool front wheel.



I'm still trying to keep this as cheap a project as possible. The gas tank pretty much blew that though...
I'll be looking for OEM spokes that will have the right bend at the hub end and being the correct length to work with the Akront rim I have.
Worst case, the rim and hub go to Buchanan's in California.
