I mounted them in the low position and am very happy with them.
I wanted Roc Stompas, but they were out of stock and out of the country and I needed something wide to give my arches some reprieve on a long trip.
Thought about the PivotPegz, but my Achilles tendons bother me enough as it is, and I figured I didn't need the extra flexion exacerbating an already painful condition.
They did knock the spring peg off on my bike. Thankfully I was only a couple blocks from home. Ground the remaining nub down, drilled and tapped it - put a screw in. Peg now folds without hitting anything. What a pain in the ass if it happened on the trail.
I would recommend avoiding
the Fastway pegs.
