Tool box detail on a KTM 640 Adventure bash plate
I thought I’d post some photos of this great bash plate’s functional toolboxes since there wasn’t much out there on the thread with that kind of detail and it was something I was interested in before I bought one.
The two toolboxes are very roomy and easily fit a nice selection of tools and gear keeping the weight down low. I didn’t even try to streamline or otherwise reduce and fine tune the tools I had been carrying in a Wolfman Enduro CarryAll front bag on another bike. I just put the tools right into the two bash plate tool boxes. In addition to what’s in the bash plate boxes I have a small tail bag on the bike which has a spare inner tube, some tire irons, and a couple other odds and ends.
Right tool box packed
Right tool box contents
Tool roll, spare spark plug, and first aid kit
Left tool box packed
Left tool box contents
Factory tool kit and tire repair kit (CO2 cartridges, patches, compound, etc.)
