I am vertically challenged also. If you look at the top of the forks you will see a grove on the fork tube showing what I thought was the max you can raise the forks in the clamps. I have gone another 1/2" past the line. At that point, if you were to use all of your fork travel the front fender and brake lines would just be touching the under side of the bike's Radiators and such. Raising your fork tubes any higher and you could cause problems.
Heya LaPorte, many thanks, how far is that line below the tripe clamp or how much have you lowered yours overall?
Does it make much difference to the handling?
