The intake to the airbox is just above the spark plugs (which by the way have really neat little individual coil on caps) so this will give an indication of the possible fording height.
I was looking for this pic of the airbox to investigate the fording height. Its a high intake, facing backwards and water cant fall to the actual throttle body intakes, all good.
The pic shows I investigated it a bit already and this was not the deepest crossing. The bike never stumbled or missed a beat but the bodywork did catch a lot of water even throwing it over the windscreen on one crossing, The resistance against the water slowed the bike noticably.
