Food was great everywhere we went and we tried so many interesting dishes along the way. I can't seem to find many good photos of the dishes as they were served, but I did come up with this photo of the restaurant in Pathankot, Punjab which was unanimously voted best grub of the trip.
This is one of the two brothers who owned the joint and his job is to pump out "Chapati" The little oven baked flat bread Indians eat with almost every meal. He would take a small piece of dough and flatten out on a padded oven met. He would use that to press the bread against the wall of the oven. Pretty cool and quite tasty I must say.
Our crew of savvy international travelers miraculously never felt the full effects of the "Delhi Belly" Maybe you can call it lucky. I don't know. Brett didn't seem to think twice when powering down Mutton Momo, Dahl Fry or any other nasty street fare.
