I could have made it fit with some foam, etc. but for one it would interfer with the Schuberth ventilation system and second, if I pay that money for a helmet, I certainly want it to fit perfectly....
The only time I would recommend to go up in size is when you cross over on your head size, e.g. 59 is squeezing the tape onto your head, 60 is coming loose - go for the XL.
As long as you still can slide the tape a little bit, stick with the size indicated by the Schuberth-chart....
I will stick with the Schuberth however, the helmet is awesome!
Will report back when I get the L.....

My head is 58 cm and Anthony suggested an XL because my Arai RX-Q large is snug. Tried on a large at NY IMS and it fit perfectly.
