I just thought they were kind of frail and poorly designed. It never dawned on me that I was putting too much stuff in it. I mean theoretically, you should be able to fill it to the top with whatever, and it won't break, right? I sometimes forget BMW's mantra that "whenever something goes wrong on a BMW, it is the user's fault and in no way reflects on the design of the machine".
