Well, since the Nikasil days way back in the airhead mesozoicum, the excessive wear of pistons / cylinders (meaning regular boring and oversized pistons) is more or less over. But think of all the tuning shops selling their "fablulous super hi-pro performance big-bang pistons" ... better think of something new, guys. Betta getta EPROM burner. Machining? Forget it - learn C#...
The difference between theory and practice practically is larger than the difference between theory and practice theoretically.
