What I have used:

Frost King; 1/8" closed cell foam, aluminum faced, self adhesive. I have used this on the air box, edge seam sealed with the NASHA tape.

NASHA: 300 deg F rated, 3" wide dead soft aluminum, self adhesive tape. I have used this as seam tape and also applied to the interior surface of both fuel cells.

HELIX brand: High temp, woven glass/ceramic body, aluminum faced, self adhesive, 18" X 18" sheet. This material works great where exhaust system components come in close contact with plastic body panels. I have used this to replace the failure prone OEM heat shield on the right/lower section of the right side fuel cell near where the front header pipe passes through. I then edge taped it in with the NASHA tape.
