If you want the first and second gearing to be the same as running 14/48 sprockets then adding the 600R first gear would be a step in the wrong direction. The 600R first gear is not as low as the XR-L first gear. 2.38 versus 2.66 for the XR-L.
Have you considered buying one of Cigar Mikes center stands and changing the front sprocket at the trail head? Having a center stand has put my lift out of business.
