Here's my luggage set up!

The original mounting design was taken from MadChap. My platform is a large cutting board with brackets underneath to lock it in place. I have one big hose clamp that pulls the rack forward and locks it in. It only takes about 30 secs for the whole platform and saddlebag assembly to be removed/installed.
Total cost
Moose Expedition Bags - $99
2x Cutting Boards - $14
8in right angle brackets - $12
Hardware/Hoseclamps - Free

$125

Bags feel real sturdy and the HDPE cutting board is a great material to use. Its durable, lightweight, inexpensive and was easy to work with.
