In no time we leave the scorching desert behind for the forests of the Kaibab Plateau.
We are still riding hard as the sun slowly sets.
We just may make our planned campsite before dark. I have a friend/co-worker who has already set up camp
just off the 22. It would be nice to spend an evening with them.
I thought I knew the way....
We make it to the 22, aka West Side Road.
