Since the frame screen was clogged you should play it safe and pull the clutch cover to check the screen in there also. Better safe than sorry.
Thanks Steve. Taco and I spent quite a bit of time flushing out the motor and cleaning the oil gallery under the screen through to the oil drain. A strange jeja vu sank in today as the reality of yet another top end rebuild unfolded

Taco came over and helped me wrench in the top end
I purchased a complete cylinder head off ebay complete with rockers, newly rebuilt valve seats, valves, OE Cam, and also ported and polished.
Not bad after a bit of clean up
Looks like this head was hot tanked and the overall condition is very good and ready for bolt in. Stoked to finally be running a OE cam with the auto decompressor
Head Complete - can't seem to find my feeler gauges tonight...
Should hopefully finish putting the bike together tomorrow and hopefully fire up the motor. Wish me luck.
