I don't know if folks realize how much work it is to put together a report like your.

PS this next hike will have put about 1/3 of the trail behind me. That leaves about 1500 miles to go.
The secret is having the camera handy while you're riding.....a camera that takes a lot of megapixel. That way you can take a picture in the general direction while riding, then just crop out a well balanced photo from what you end up with.

Anyway, that country deserved my best effort. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures and my BS story.

1500 miles left? 300 miles a year, you better start lining up some of the Pacific Crest Trail to tide you over.
