I've never tried those foam grips but I'll give them a try. I don't think my problem comes from gripping too hard, especially since my left hand has no issues. Somehow the nerves in that palm are getting pinched a bit. I've tried bar positions but haven't tried changing the bend. I'm going to try grips first and see if that helps and go from there.
Yesterday was just an off day I think. I certainly was happy to be on the bike like always, but I think the hand situation was just distracting me and like the normal flucuation of performance (I've had plenty of 'off' days playing basketball too) things weren't flowing as usual.
