Looks like it's going to be atleast another 3 weeks before I can get real serious about this bike, work has been demanding and continues to be so for a while. Meanwhile I bought another distraction....

back in the shop, parts continue to arrive
the forks had some rust above the travel limit and I didn't want the expense of buying new ones
so I cleaned them up and powder coated them chrome.... that should stop further rust and that area hides behind the boots anyways
and a bit more powder coating, bar clamps in chrome and seat hinge in black
and forks legs in a color that is supposed to be Honda's gray, anyone care to comment on if it's a color match? I don't have anything to compare it to.
just noticed the fork boots I bought don't match, I should have know better as they were from Taiwan and I doubt the vendor will do anything about it. Old vs new
