For the KTM and Husaberg Bikes:
You Replace your stock rear axle nut (shown at left) with one I provide (shown at right).



The 640cc and smaller bikes use a 20mm Nut, the 690cc and larger use a larger Nut. I have both. The axle length varies with some models so the hitch width is bike dependent.

For the DR650 and DRZ400 bikes, some years came with a Castle Nut and Cotter Pin.

If your bike has this castle nut setup, I have the Fuji style nut you can replace it with.


Here is the mounting method for 1987-2007 KLR's

Start with this:


Remove this:


Now looks like this:


Trade old for new:


Install New: Mirror image on other side, two brackets total.


Leave this on at all times if you like, should stay out of the way:


Now you can pull a Moto-Mule Trailer:

Instead of using one long "bolt", the moto-mule trailer is held on with two short bolts, one on each side on the KLR.
