This ride WILL involve lots of twisty paved & dirt/gravel roads, old abandoned trails, some hairy singletrack, somewhat epic hill climbs, etc. To be honest, an XR650 is about the biggest/heaviest bike that allows FAST FUN on the difficult portions. You
can take a small GS, KLR, or similar machine, but ya better be nutso!
