A couple of posts up I mention the PC310 is marginal on the LC8 and I should actually have said too marginal. The PC-310 is rated 100CCA and I've measured starting peak surge current at 180Amps on my 990. The PC-310 barely turned the bike over in warm temps, never tried it in sub-freezing temps. I had it in my 990 very temporarily while I waited for another battery to show up.
The PC-310 was originally bought for my Aprilia RXV550 and removed from that application too, not enough capacity there either. I put a Gen 1 Shorai 14Ah small case battery in the Aprilia and it was fine for that. Started the bike fast every time down to 40F. The Aprilia also needed the sub-freezing cold-weather "warm up" routine, then started great.
So basically I would not recommend the PC-310 for an LC8.
