These lights throw more of a flood pattern than spot, but wow... The near useless high beam HID light on my dr650 has now turned into a retina searing flood light (for those that try and stare into them). These things have no problem at all lighting up both sides of the road for a pretty good distance. Should there be any kind of animal next to the road, you should have no problem seeing them with plenty of time to slow down. I love these things!

Creative way of mounting the lights, thanks for posting up the pics.
Im glad they are working out for you. Ive ridden in northern Georgia and I know there are plenty of critters lurking in the dark.
