thus, pirate and ATGATT cannot be simultaneously true.

the definition of ATGATT is that one wears all the gear *all the time*.

if one sometimes does not where all the gear (part of the given premise), then one does not where all the gear *all the time*. thus, one who sometimes does not where all the gear cannot be ATGATT.

he could be ATGSoTT (all the gear some of the time).
