Good advice on tubes there Dave.

In Baja tubes are like Gold. Not available. Mainland Mexico is better as there are more moto shops. But most sell the worst and cheapest Chinese tubes. Quality (real natural rubber instead of Butyl) can be patched and re-used, are tougher too. Worth bringing a few good ones along.
Flats are common in Mexico. But Llanteros (tire repair) are everywhere and they can fix ANYTHING! USE THEM!!! CHEAP!
